Fried Chicken

I haven’t been cooking lately because it’s 5 million degrees outside and not much cooler inside. I was getting tired of takeout so I decided to fry some chicken. I don’t have a recipe because I was just throwing stuff together but will develop one soon! My seasoning needs a little tweaking but it was too yummy not to share!


Slow Cooker 40 Clove Garlic Chicken


Sounds garlicky doesn’t it? This dish was delicious without being overwhelming.  I actually doubled the recipe to make lunches for the next couple days for the boyfriend. 80 cloves of garlic! I also omitted the potatoes because my crockpot barely even fit the 16 drumsticks. I’ll just give you the original recipe though. Pro tip: just purchase the pre-peeled kind, save yourself the trouble. I found this recipe here: Once again, it was a Pinterest find. Per usual.


  • 8 drumsticks
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 3 tbsps lemon juice
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cups mini potatoes
  • 40 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/4 cup thyme
  • salt & pepper to taste

-Grease crockpot with cooking spray.

-Add bouillon cubes, lemon juice, & water.

-Cover with sliced onions.

– Place drumsticks on top of onions.

-Top with potatoes, garlic, thyme, salt, & pepper.

-Cover & cook on low for 8-10, high for 6.
